My heart is captured by two things: my family, and my Jesus. Each of them "completes" me. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have a husband who adores me, and 4 sweet kiddos that call me mom. 

Some of my favorite things are coffee, candles, Christmastime, baking, laughter and music.

I am a simple girl, living a simple, country girl's life. I live in what I consider God's country. Most people say it is out in the middle of nowhere, but that to me is what is so great about it. It is serene and peaceful.. I love waking up to the woods in our backyard, and the sounds of the countryside. I am so thankful I was born and raised in Indiana- The perfect state with four seasons. There is something about each season that I enjoy so much. 

I am most definitely a sentimental, nostalgic gal.

And this takes me back to why I do what I'm doing. Photography is all about capturing that moment in time that you can never physically relive again, yet, you can through digital image or print. I began taking pictures of my own family because I had a style and look of my own. I knew what the pictures looked like in my head that I wanted of my own children, and I wanted to put them in print. That's where my journey began....Fast forward a few years...and here I am..

I enjoy creating posed portraits full of rich color. That is definitely more of my photography style. Take a quick look at some of my work and I hope the images catch your attention and draw you in to each individual’s face.
